CREDIT TRANSFER PROGRAM BETWEEN HANOI UNIVERSITY
OF CIVIL ENGINEERING AND VICTORIA UNIVERSITY (AUSTRALIA)
1. General Information
- Currently, the Faculty of International Education is developing a Credit Transfer Collaboration Program (Mapping Program) with Victoria University (Australia) at the undergraduate level.
- The program has been approved by both universities.
- The Bachelor's Degree is awarded by Victoria University and is recognized by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training.
2. Credit Transfer Conditions
- Students who have been admitted to Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) can participate in the program from their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year.
- Students must pass all courses in the program.
- English proficiency requirement: IELTS 6.0 (no skill below 6.0).

4. Study Program Structure
Bachelor’s Degree (3+2) in Construction Management
- First 3 years: Study at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) following HUCE’s curriculum.
- Final 2 years: Study at Victoria University (Australia) following Victoria University's curriculum.
- Note: The Autumn semester at Victoria University starts in July or March each year.
Bachelor’s Degree (3+1) in Building Design
- First 3 years: Study at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) following HUCE’s curriculum.
- Final year: Study at Victoria University (Australia) following Victoria University's curriculum.
5. Admission and Registration Process
- Students majoring Construction and Economics who wish to participate must register with the Faculty of International Education for evaluation.
- Required application documents:
- English language certificate (if available).
- Academic transcript (certified by the Academic Affairs Office or Faculty).
- Application form for the program.
- Two 3x4 cm photos.
- English proficiency requirement for transfer to Victoria University: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
6. Tuition Fees
At Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (Vietnam)
- Tuition fees depend on the number of students enrolled (lower than tuition fees in Australia).
- The fees are similar to other international collaboration programs at Vietnamese universities.
At Victoria University (Australia)
- Tuition fees: AUD 16,700 per semester.
- Scholarship: 10-30% of tuition fees, depending on the student's GPA over the first 3 years.
- Estimated living expenses: Around AUD 19,800 per year.
7. Enrollment Quota
- 05 students per intake.
8. Internship Duration
- Students will participate in a 12-week internship at Australian companies during the program.
