Opening Ceremony of International Cooperation Programs - Academic year 2022-2023

Joining the atmosphere to welcome the new school year of HUCE, the Opening Ceremony of International Cooperation Programs - Academic year 2022-2023 took place at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) on October 13^th, 2022.

The Ceremony was attended by representatives of international partners - Mr. Chu Da Minh - Counselor, Head of Education Department, Taipei Economic & Cultural Office, Ms. Dang Van Linh - Head of Science and Technology Department , Taipei Economic & Cultural Office; and representatives of domestic partners - Mr. Pham Huy Thong - International Training Support Center, Ministry of Education and Training, Mr. Le Minh Tu - Director of New Pathway Company, Ms. Nguyen Trung Ha - Representative ATS Company, Ms. Nguyen Thu Luong - Journalist from the Voice of Vietnam.

Representative of HUCE was attended by Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Vice Rector; Dr. Ta Quynh Hoa - Dean of the Faculty of International Education (FIE) and Director of ICCEC; and representatives of Faculties, Departments, lecturers, staff of FIE, ICCEC, parents and new students.

At first, Dr. Ta Quynh Hoa, on behalf of FIE and ICCEC, welcomed the guests and gave her opening ceremony’s speech. According to Dr. Ta Quynh Hoa, in nearly 20 years of development, ICCEC has successfully built various joint training programs at undergraduate and master levels with international partners from countries such as Germany, Italy, Belgium, Taiwan, UK... About 400 students studied in these programs and many of them graduated and hold important positions in state organization and private enterprises. Students of our programs are not only Vietnamese ones but also international ones who are from Japan, Mozambique... Also, ICCEC and FIE collaborate with a lot of domestic partners such as reputable and professional consulting companies  in order to bring many opportunities to study in the international environments for students of HUCE in particular and students of in the field of engineering in general.

Next, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Vice Rector of HUCE gave his congratulations to FIE, ICCEC and the new students of the international cooperation programs. The Rector Board of HUCE highly appreciates the achievements of FIE and ICCEC in recent years and also wishes that the programs will develop more and more, contributing to the improvement of training quality and international integration of HUCE. Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Hoang Giang also would like to send his deeply thanks to the leaders and officials of the Ministry of Education and Training for creating favorable conditions and supporting HUCE to build and develop successfully international joint training programs; to international partners, teachers and students for great contributing to the prestigious international programs.

At the ceremony, the new students were awarded student cards and flowers. They are officially participating in an international studying and researching environment promising a lot of good future prospects!

New students of Credit Transfer Cooperation Programs with Deakin University (Australia) and the University of Huddersfield (UK)

New students of Joint Master Program between HUCE and NTU (Taiwan) - Batch 15 were pleased to be awarded student cards and flowers

The joint master program between HUCE and NTU is one of the sustainable and long-term programs of FIE and ICCEC. The program has enrolled 15 batches with more than 130 students participating since 2008. It has always received the kind support from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office. Ms. Dang Van Linh - Head of Science and Technology Department, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office expressed her pleasure as it is her first time to participate  in the opening ceremony of international cooperation programs of HUCE. She would like to send her great congratulations on the success of the joint master program between HUCE and NTU. Ms. Dang Van Linh also affirmed that the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office will continue to support for training, scientific research and cultural exchange activities between the two universities.

At the end of the ceremony, Pham Khanh Linh, on behalf of the new students of the undergraduate cooperation program with the University of Mississippi (USA), gave her speech in both Vietnamese and English to express her happpiness as successfully passing into the program; sincerely thanked all teachers and staff of FIE for their good orientation and advice; and committed  to overcome challenges with all passion and ability to  achieve expected achievements.

The Ceremony ended with the excitement of students and teachers. We would like to wish the international cooperation programs great success!
